Stained Violet

Stained Violet is a cynical look at the demons that we all hide beneath the veneer, and that any notion of heroism ends in tragedy.

Former detective Scott Fides' friend and former partner is found murdered on the floor of the repair shop they had both started, in an effort to escape their pasts. Scott puts his badge back on, and re-holsters his revolver to find who was responsible, and to punish them in a way he knows the police wouldn't know.
During his effort, Scott has to come to terms with his past, while trying to rebuild his future.
With an already shaky psyche, and increasingly diminishing home life, Scott plunges deep into the city, and his own paranoia, as he starts to suspect: The former chief of police, the newest member of his business, his murdered friend's spouse, and his own wife.
