meaning: Good question, I would call it a collage of clichés, as an atheist I like to play with the religious pathos, and in my art, I like to use some of the things you find in the old masters art, big emotions beautiful objects.
As a reaction to an art world that is often based Art theology and relativism, where the idea and not the quality is at the center.
But I try to paint them as beautiful and so picturesque that it itself hides the underlying irony and thus can create a conflict and kognetiv disonanse for the viewer.
Personally I'm more interested in science than art, when the new art is found in the sciences. Let it be said that I find all the art in which execution is supporting the work interesting ..
And no, I do not believe in angels
I work in figurative painting, using Goethe's color theory as a starting point for my use of color ... that is Red, Yellow and Blue as the base color (Color Circle)!
When I asked what I'm working on as a subject, I usually reply that I work with Objects, often taken from nature as well as people and landscapes! The aim of my paintings is still the painting / the picturesque. The objects are the means!
What I want to achieve is to penetrate as far as possible into myself and push my abilities so that it at one time or another occurs aesthetics / poetry!
A good painting will give a sense of meaning, on a par with music, philosophy, poetry, literature and especially science!
