Dan Brodie is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. He began life leading alt-country outfit, Dan Brodie & the Broken Arrows, releasing three records - Big Black Guitar (2000), Empty Arms, Broken hearts (2002) and Beautiful Crimes (2005). Signed to EMI in Australia and Last Call Records in France, Brodie garnered two Aria nominations, touring extensively both locally and internationally. Now Brodie returns with My Friend the Murderer (2011) with his new "dirty-blues-noir" band, Dan Brodie & the Grieving Widows, out on Fat Swine Records in Australia and on vinyl release on French label, Beast Records.
