James MIchail-Richard Harvey

My parents met at the planning committee for the first Star Trek convention in Kansas City in 1976. Yes, that's right. I said it. My real name is "James" after Cpt. James T. Kirk. I'm Skip because he's the "skipper" of the Enterprise. Stop that! I can see you laughing! I think it's endearing. i'm an optimist. i'm a dreamer. i'm an artist. i'm loud and opinionated, yet insecure and often shy. i believe it's imparitive to LIVE life, not just live THROUGH it. i'm a hopeless romantic--the love sick type with a poet's heart but a critical mind. i'm an idealist, but call out so called "realists" for the reluctant pessimists they are. I'm a vegetarian, activist, geek, starry-eyed wonderer, existentialist, transcendentalist, foodie, lush, pascifist, humanist, feminist, impresario, filmmaker, fanboy, trekkie, trekker, student, washout, faliure, success, and everything in between.
I also enjoy woodworking and jazzercise.
