Welcome to Beatnik Blends. My name is Katherine Barnett and I'm a traditional/digital abstract artist. I blend pencil drawings with digital software to create my work. I love to play with color blends. I am obsessed with color. I am fascinated on how many directions you can go with color. I want to experiment with color until my dying breath.
I've been working with color for over 10 years. I first started in web design, then photo manipulation and now I dedicate my time in creating abstract art. This channel showcases the process on how I create my art, from the beginning to end. I feature electronic music that I love. I also love synth pop, post rock, and rock music and at times I will feature music in those genres. I do hope you enjoy Beatnik Blends. It's a bit eccentric here....
