The Hyponoia Project

THP formed as a result of other failed projects, which included groups like the Death Jazz Arkestra and Sad Muddy Highway. After several name changes and reworkings of purpose and direction, The Hyponoia Project was born. THP played it first big gig at a local church and has taken off since then, playing venues such as Arlington Town Day and the Acton Jazz Cafe. THP moves freely between psychedelic space jams, jazz and rock ballads, and covers of their favorite funk tunes. Whether performing an original or playing their version of "Scomule", THP maintains a high quality of musicianship and a stage prescence unrivaled in their genre.
