Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is due for release on the PS4 just two weeks before Christmas and will become the first in the franchise to offer up to four person co-operative play. The sequel to the game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, rather than a new Tomb Raider, this game is set to be more fantastical than the usual Croft adventures and allows players to work together in more of an arcade/action format rather than becoming involved in an intense storyline. While the Tomb Raider series has heavy roots in reality, the two Lara Croft games offer a different experience.

Lovers of the Tomb Raider star Croft can expect a whole new gaming experience with more connectivity than ever before. Teaming up with Carter Bell (a rival treasure hunter) and the gods Isis and Horus, Croft fights her way through a series of impossible situations in group mode, enabling up to four players to fight together to defeat the hordes of ancient enemies, solve intriguing puzzles and avoid devious traps while exploring the stunning Egyptian underworld. Adding even more challenge and intrigue, players also compete for treasure and artifacts as they work together to gather the fragments of the god Osiris and prevent the evil Set from conquering and enslaving the whole of humanity.
