Powering the Planet theoretically forever without fossil fuels is the gravest challenge we face today. Man-kinds ability to survive in the future is at stake. If we continue to consume all our carbon resources we are going to end up with a world that is essentially a rock with water on it that is unsustainable for man-kind. We are acting like were the last generation to live on this planet.

Sustainability is the key to man-kinds survival.

We must tackle this problem with a sense of urgency through cooperation and not competition if we want our world to have any resemblance of what we know today. Experts predict there are only 50 years of oil remaining today and even with better recovery methods and new discoveries with a consumption rate of 31 billion barrels per year it won't be long before we begin to have oil shortages around the world. It's critical young people from all around the world get involved since it's their future at stake.
