Rest Ministries is the largest Christian organization that specifically serves people who live with chronic illness or pain. It was founded in 1997 by Lisa Copen, and currently receives thousands of visitors each month to their website to interact with people through a social network, receive daily devotionals via e-mail, read a variety of encouraging articles, and more. There are also over 300 small groups in churches and communities around the world called HopeKeepers[R], a program of Rest Ministries.
