Quds Art - non profit organization for Arts based in East Jerusalem .
After reviewing the reality of arts and culture in the country, and being aware of the potential contribution of the arts to developing and refining the humanitarian social conscience and community awareness , and being aware of the importance and need to support and develop the initiatives of local artists and networking with artistic companies and institutions , educational and social serve the same goal domestically and internationally, and our belief that there should be independent local initiatives in this direction, we, by the sense of responsibility to this reality , have agreed on the establishment of a non-profit organization in Jerusalem bearing the name:
Quds Art
in order to achieve the following objectives:
1. Contributing to a Serious and effective initiatives that can lead to the development of all forms of arts to serve all segments of society.
2.Issuancing cultural and literary publications associated with the various arts.
3. Give priority in our plans and programs for people with special needs and marginalized social groups.
4. Support artists by helping them produce and promote their art and contribute with delivering this art to the community.
5. Cooperation and networking with similar institutions and companies to develop domestic and international cooperation in the field of culture and arts.
6. Seek, and contribute to, issuing laws and regulations which protect the rights of artists and develop their creativity.
7. Organizing festivals, conferences, workshops and seminars in the field of culture and arts.
8. Extending Art to the broadest community possible and by all available means.
9. Seek, and contribute to the creation and development of arts schools.
10. Help arts students and contribute to their development academically and practically and help in providing job opportunities for them.
