00:00Oh, yeah, because you're there was no autofocus. And so on a roll of 36, if I had 15 photos in focus, that was a great day. You know, so right away, you're eliminating half your photos. But, you know, as you guys know, it's just all about capturing the significant play.
00:22You know, it's like 1992 NBA Finals game one, you know, the shrug, you got to get, you know, it was coming right towards me. And there it was. And, you know, I was thinking, yeah, this is a pretty good photo. I think this should be page one. And then you never realize just like what a, you know, iconic photo it ended up being. And, you know, my other good photo, I really enjoy Pippen jumping on Ewing in the 94.
00:47You know, once again, it's like kind of just, you know, being in the right place at the right time, because back then, you could sit anywhere you wanted, you could sit underneath the basket, you could sit along the sideline, you know, they would cram 40 photographers on the court. Now, you know, they have assigned seats at the Warriors games. And there's only maybe eight of us on the floor at a time. And sometimes we have to share a floor spot. So you only get it for two quarters.
01:15But back then, you could do anything you wanted, you can go up in the roof of the Chicago stadium. And there was this hole that overlooked the basket, there was no railing, there was nothing, there was no security, you just stand up there, and you just kind of hang over and you would shoot straight down. And it just was, it was, you know, it was how it was then. But now you look back, it's like, that was crazy. You know, it's like, but, but it definitely is, it's been for me, really cool to kind of, you know, stretch from shooting
01:45film, to now shooting digital, where, you know, we're sometimes transmitting, transmitting right from our camera, where we don't even need a laptop. So it's been a quite a, you know, quite a stretch. But, you know, it's, it's just been, I've been so honored to like cover Jordan's years, and then cover Curry's years. It's been really kind of really cool. Me and Steve Kerr, I think we're the only two people who have,
02:08who were there for the Bulls 72 wins and the Warriors 73 wins. So that was kind of fun.
