Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 02 – Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Title: "Migration is for Allah and His Messenger"
Hadith:
Narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“Whoever migrates for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, then his migration will be for Allah and His Messenger. But whoever migrates for worldly benefits or to marry a woman, then his migration will be for the purpose he intended.”
Explanation:
This hadith emphasizes the sincerity of intention behind every action. Even a great act like migration (Hijrah) is only valuable in the sight of Allah if it is done for His sake. If done for worldly reasons, then that is all the person will get.
It teaches us to purify our intentions in everything we do—whether spiritual, personal, or worldly.
