00:00Hello folks welcome to your security newsroom today we are going to discuss
00:19about the Indian narrative building with regard to operation Sindhu both during
00:24and after it this analysis will be done at three levels that is tactical level
00:29operational level and strategic level we will be using multiple and authentic media sources
00:36from India Pakistan and abroad as you know that the tactical level includes military maneuvering
00:44and actions taken at the battlefield and the use of technology there the impact and the military
00:52output of that technology will also be analyzed the tactical level narrative building will be
00:59revolving around three perspectives the air to air battle between India and Pakistan the Indian
01:05aggression on the Pakistani side and the Pakistani retaliation the aerial engagement that took place
01:12between the night of 6th and 7th May Pakistan Air Force claimed that they have shot down five Indian
01:19jets whereas Indian Air Force never claimed of downing any Pakistani jet in their official press conference
01:28no number was given by the IAF nor there was any wreckage found of any Indian air to air missile fired by
01:37their jets how the incident was quoted by the CNN officials through their French sources about the
01:44Rafale down and how President Trump and the Indian politician make opinion of this incident by the way
01:50India Pakistan was probably going to end up in a nuclear war if they kept you know they had they shut down five planes in the last attack and it was back and forth back and forth back and forth back and forth
02:00but now let's see what was the narrative built in by the Indian officials and the youtubers the famous youtubers in the public some jets were lost it is not important how many losses occurred these losses were actually due to technical error and were not shot by Pakistan Air Force
02:27Pakistan Air Force so air force went into a short mode as to why did this happen they rectified their tactics and flew in again these were actually the banshee drones mimicking radar signature of the actual jet these jets were not shot but crashed during the landing and out of desperation Indian military even tried to create a particular narrative in their official press conference here you can listen about it you know we
02:57we are in a combat scenario and losses are a part of combat the question that you must ask us okay and indeed that we must ask us you inclusive is have we achieved our objectives as for the details
03:18what could have been how many numbers which platform did we lose you know in this at this time I would not like to comment on that
03:37now we move towards the second perspective that is Indian aggression after the initial battle when Pakistan resorted to retaliation
03:45through drones and artillery firing India start using Brahmoos missiles these Brahmoos did hit some of Pakistani bases but actual narratives surrounding around this Brahmoos missile was very interesting
04:00the narrative was made as none of the Brahmoos got intercepted by Pakistani air defense so Brahmoos turned out to be a silver bullet
04:11as a matter of fact this unstoppable and invincible Brahmoos has a very limited success rate
04:18this is because India fired many Brahmoos on several Pakistan air force bases and that only one or two of them got actual hit and that too on the runway
04:32here is the proof about Brahmoos success
04:35you can see this is Suratgarh and this is our base Rafiki this is our eastern border and you can see the
04:45Brahmoos high-speed Brahmoos travelling almost at 3000 km per hour who are going over there and coming numerous one after another one after another one after another
04:55so many Brahmoos were fired with a very limited hits achieved but still Brahmoos was presented with 100% result
05:04with utmost accuracy and it was being claimed that Brahmoos has actually achieved 1 to 10 meter CEP that makes it almost a perfect weapon
05:17but this Brahmoos phenomena performance can be debunked by the concrete evidence provided by Pakistan air force through actual radar imagery
05:29This is where it is launched from our eastern side towards Jasalmir
05:34this is our airfield Shahbaz
05:36Jakobabad
05:37now this Brahmoos is crossing on top of Shahbaz
05:40and it is going towards our western border
05:44almost to our neighboring country towards there
05:46now we move towards the third perspective
05:49that is Pakistani retaliation and the performance of the Indian air defense
05:54it was claimed that none of the Pakistani projectiles were able to achieve significant impact
06:03and that Indian air defense proved to be substantial and unbreakable for Pakistani missiles
06:12but the reality is different
06:15this can be debunked from the Indian sources
06:18here the official Ministry of Defense of India makes a statement about some damage to the multiple Indian air force bases
06:28now let's listen to the testimony of Indian deputy chief about the partial success of Indian air defense
06:37Dr. Ashok did talk about it that some of our indigenous systems performed well
06:41some did not perform very well too
06:43now here is the destruction of Brahmoos depus site at base
06:48this fact it shows clearly that there is a military cantonment area
06:54whereas the heat damage or flames coming out of the area
07:00are either of the jet fuel burning or any type of fuel oxidizer mixture of any missile propellant
07:10these flames are now reaching to the level of communication towers
07:17now let's move towards the S-400 story
07:20whereas Pakistan claimed to have hit some part of the S-400 system
07:25Indians rejected that claim
07:28but it is very interesting to note that a story appears on an Indian media
07:33where a BSF personnel who was supposed to be the operator of the S-400 system was killed
07:41this news surfaced on the media
07:43but later it was claimed that this gentleman could not join its duties on the S-400 system
07:50the Pakistani side even showed the satellite pictures of the Udhampur base
07:55where the S-400 battery was deployed
07:58but this was later rejected by the Indian media claiming it to be a doctored picture
08:03so a narrative was promoted about S-400 system being invincible to be targeted
08:10now let's move toward the operational level analysis
08:14as we do know that operational level analysis include not only the military components
08:20but also the non-military components
08:23that is kinetic and non-kinetic means of national power
08:29and at the kinetic level we take not only the traditional tri-services of the military
08:35but also the modern warfare that includes electromagnetic spectrum
08:40that is the multi-spectrum and multi-domain warfare
08:45here we will use the test case performance of the Brahmoos missile
08:50versus the electromagnetic means applied by Pakistan
08:54and as well as the ISR available to Pakistan during this operation
09:00that gives the testimony to the operational performance of the Pakistan and India
09:05let's listen about the evidence provided by Pakistan Air Force
09:10using electronic jamming and GPS spoofing
09:14so here you see that they are being launched from Bhoj area
09:17this is the southern part of the country
09:19and this is our air feed Bholari you must have mentioned
09:22you have seen there were a lot of mention from our counterparts
09:25here you see this Brahmos is coming
09:29it's almost reaching the target and you will see when we will apply the soft kill
09:34look what happened to it it moved left and then disappeared towards the ground
09:38I mean this is the radar evidence that we have that there so many of their vectors missed the targets
09:45now let's also listen about the ISR capabilities Pakistan were possessing during this conflict
09:54Pakistan actually was mentioning that we know that your such and such important sort of vector is primed and it is ready for action
10:07now we will turn towards the non-military component of the operational level analysis
10:12and this can be easily summed up with those components which are the part of the national power that includes national unity and the leadership consensus over an important issue
10:25this can be summed up with this particular tweet by the Indian main opposition party about the Indian government performance during Operation Sindhu
10:35Now let's turn towards the strategic level of analysis
10:40as we do know the strategic level is the highest level that involves regional international diplomacy
10:47the foreign policy objectives and the foreign policy discourse that also include the higher national objective to be achieved
10:56now what could be the India's major national objective that it tried to achieve by doing Operation Sindhu
11:04the answer is to isolate Pakistan at the diplomatic level even attempt to sanction Pakistan or declare it as the terror sponsor state
11:16but the level of diplomacy and the media outplay eventually happened tells us the other side of the story
11:24in these writing we can see the academics and the practitioners and the researchers are saying that India has not been able to achieve its diplomatic objective
11:33moreover we can also see the frustration that is evident on the faces of the senior journalists about the state of diplomacy of India
11:45India has publicly accused Pakistan of plotting the pehalgham attack but the quad statement does not even mention Pakistan
11:53nobody in the international community stood by India and those who did were very muted and after it was like a 108 hour conflict
12:04we ended it too soon and we didn't get the support that we deserved and we needed
12:10now lastly if Indian strategic planners think that they have been able to create a precedent of fighting a limited war under the nuclear threshold
12:22they should seriously look into the tactical and operational outcome of Indian military performance
12:31thank you for watching for more videos like and subscribe
