Lioness struggles to save cub after overambitious swimming lesson at London Zoo

Sajna shared an engaging video of a mama lion entering panic mode after her attempt to teach her cub to swim backfires.

The lioness gently pushes the cub into the pond, expecting it to pop back out as if it were no big deal.

However, she quickly realizes that the cub could use a few gentler swimming lessons before being left in the water alone.

Frantically, the lioness tries to pull the cub out, failing a couple of times before finally rescuing the little one.

"This was taken during our visit to London Zoo," Sajna told WooGlobe.
