Trust in God’s faithfulness - Reflection on Psalm 9:10

Psalm chapter 9 verse 10
is a powerful reminder
of God's unwavering faithfulness
and the trust
we can place in Him.
This verse encourages believers
to seek God,
knowing that
He will never abandon those
who earnestly seek His presence.

It says;

"Those who know your name
trust in you,
for you, Lord,
have never forsaken
those who seek you."

This verse speaks to the deep relationship
between knowing God
and trusting Him.
To know God's name
is to understand His character,
His promises,
and His love.
When we truly know Him,
trust naturally follows
because we recognize His faithfulness
throughout our lives.
This trust is not blind
but is built on the evidence
of God's consistent presence and support.
In times of trouble or uncertainty,
remembering God's past faithfulness
can strengthen our faith
and give us the courage
to face the future.

Let us Pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank You
for Your unwavering faithfulness
and the assurance
that You will never forsake
those who seek You.
Help us to know You more deeply
and to trust You more fully.
In moments of doubt or fear,
remind us of Your constant presence
and the many ways
You have been faithful in our lives.
Strengthen our hearts
to seek You earnestly
and to rest in the peace
that comes from trusting
in Your name.
