00:00This is what a next level family holiday looks like. We flew to the Maldives with

00:04Singapore Airlines and when you're traveling long haul with kids being

00:06looked after really matters. After a short-seat plane from the capital

00:10Malay, we landed at our first resort, Heritansara. Think turquoise water and

00:13postcard views but better. As soon as we arrived we met our personalised butler.

00:17Yep, every villa gets one. Ours made life with a little one so much easier. Our kids

00:21absolutely fell in love with him and the service across the board at the resort

00:24was at a level we've never experienced before. The family villas are literally

00:27right on the sand. Spacious, immaculate with an epic outdoor shower and a daily

00:32replenished mini bar. In fact the whole island's all-inclusive so your meals,

00:35cocktails, snacks, sorted. Each morning we'd open the back door to our own slice of

00:39paradise, swimming with the fish and baby reef sharks literally at our feet.

00:43There's not a better way to start the day. There's so many activities for the kids

00:46including a boat ride out to see the dolphins which was a highlight plus

00:49endless stretches of warm glassy blue water or even at the infinity pool which

00:53was the perfect place to park up. Not to mention the delicious wood-fried pizzas

00:57which kept them going for hours. Speaking of food, the options were incredible and so

01:01diverse. From seafood on the sand at sunset to stacked breakfast buffets and

01:05spicy Maldivian curries, every meal was an absolute moment. The kids club was

01:09massive and packed with activities. The kids didn't want to leave which means

01:12parents can sneak off for a cheeky wine tasting or couples spa treatment which

01:16was insanely good. You literally look down onto the fish swimming below or grab a

01:20cocktail at the sky bar as the sun sets. So whether it's a family trip or a

01:24romantic escape, Heriton's Arah just nails it.
