00:07Now normally I would put Bible verses at the end of my videos, but I'm going to make an

00:12exception this time and put a Bible verse in the beginning of the video and you're going

00:17to see exactly why.

00:18Because today, this is all about something that has violated scripture.

00:25And this goes out to one software developer that makes games for the Sega Genesis or Mega

00:33Drive if you live elsewhere.

00:36So the scripture in question that was violated was Exodus 2015, Thou shalt not steal.

00:45That's right, Thou shalt not steal.

00:47So there's your Bible verse for today.

00:48So, I really want everybody to understand this commandment of God, that we should not

00:57go around and be stealing things.

00:59And we sure don't want to end up like Kai Magazine Software, who is today's target for this video.

01:07And Kai Magazine Software, if you are watching this video, I'm pretty disappointed with you.

01:11I'm not happy with you, and I'm very disappointed with you after what I have been hearing.

01:18I have seen two videos and an article on the situation, and it really, really seems like

01:25you are being very, very dodgy here.

01:28Okay, you have some responding to do.

01:31You really need to respond to what's going on here.

01:34Because now everybody is seeing through what you're doing, and no one's happy about it.

01:41And as for you retro gaming YouTubers out there that are praising this developer, I really

01:48ask that you stop praising this developer, and call this out.

01:55Okay?

01:56That is what I encourage you people to do.

01:59Because God commands to judge righteously.

02:03And that is what we're going to be doing today.

02:07So, what did Kai Magazine Software steal?

02:11What did they do, right?

02:13That is something some of you guys are probably asking me.

02:17Right?

02:18So, first off, who is Kai Magazine Software?

02:22So, I'm going to tell you guys about today's target.

02:25So, Kai Magazine Software is this developer that makes games for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive

02:33if you live elsewhere.

02:36Because here in America, it's the Sega Genesis.

02:38But elsewhere, it's the Mega Drive.

02:41Yeah, get it?

02:42So, pretty much,

02:47this situation was just nuts.

02:49And this was my first time hearing about it.

02:52And once I heard about it, I was disappointed.

02:54I was pretty disappointed when I heard about this information

02:57about what Kai Magazine Software has been doing

02:59with their homebrew games.

03:02Right?

03:03So, this developer makes homebrew games

03:07and makes money off these homebrew games.

03:09Now, this is a problem.

03:11And obviously, I'm going to say this is a problem.

03:14And many of you are going to be asking me why I say it's a problem.

03:17And I'm going to tell you all exactly why.

03:20Now, I have seen two videos.

03:26One from PK in the Universe

03:29and the other from a YouTuber called Goatee.

03:33And these two YouTubers were talking about the subject.

03:39Right?

03:40Now, one of them put a time extension article

03:44in the description of their YouTube video,

03:46but the other did not.

03:47Now, I first watched PK in the Universe's video

03:54to understand the situation.

03:57And I'm like, okay, now I see what's going on here.

03:59So, this is the same Kai Magazine software

04:03that licensed Evercade

04:06to put Metal Dragon and Life on Mars

04:11on their console, the Evercade.

04:14And this is also the same Kai Magazine software

04:20that made Life on Earth reimagined

04:22and also made some MSX homebrews.

04:26So, okay.

04:28All right.

04:30So, I learned about the situation

04:32and I find out, right,

04:35that Kai Magazine software

04:38has been stealing assets

04:42from not only other people's games,

04:47but stealing art

04:49and allegedly AI generating.

04:54Now, why?

04:59Why would you do that?

05:02And what's even worse

05:04is you're making a profit

05:07off those stolen assets that you stole.

05:10And I'm like, what?

05:15And I'm like,

05:16and this developer, right,

05:19doesn't want you pirating their software,

05:22but yet it's okay

05:24when they steal assets from other people.

05:27And I'm like,

05:29okay, so we have a hypocrite on our hands then.

05:32We have a hypocrite on our hands.

05:34So, it's not okay

05:36when you pirate Kai Magazine software's games,

05:39but it's okay

05:40when they steal your assets,

05:43steal your art,

05:44and stuff like that.

05:46So, it's okay when they do it,

05:49but when you do it,

05:50it's not okay.

05:52Which is really hypocritical.

05:56It's very, very hypocritical.

05:59Now, I'm not defending piracy in any way.

06:04Okay?

06:04I'm not.

06:05I'm not defending piracy.

06:08But I'm also not defending this action either.

06:12I'm not.

06:15Because this tracing stuff,

06:18this AI stuff,

06:20this stealing assets stuff,

06:22it's not okay.

06:24And it's also not okay

06:26when you profit off of that too.

06:28That's not cool.

06:30Because not only is that illegal,

06:33but that can get you sued.

06:36That can really put your company out of business.

06:40You know?

06:42And that's going to put your,

06:43that's going to get your company in a lot of trouble.

06:46It really is.

06:47And, for some reason,

06:53the retro YouTubers,

06:55or should I say retro-tubers,

06:57if you will,

06:58the retro gaming YouTubers,

06:59or retro-tubers,

07:00have been praising these games.

07:03And they're not realizing

07:06that these assets that are used for these games

07:12are stolen.

07:14Right?

07:15the character artwork

07:17has been stolen.

07:19Um,

07:20and even some backgrounds

07:22were stolen.

07:23Apparently,

07:24one of the backgrounds

07:25from one of the games

07:26made by Kai Magazine Software

07:28is taken from an SNK game.

07:32And keep in mind,

07:34SNK is one of Evercade's licensees.

07:37And yet,

07:42Evercade

07:42has released

07:45the Metal Dragon

07:46Life on Mars cartridge,

07:49which both those games

07:50are, once again,

07:51made by Kai Magazine Software.

07:56So,

07:57I really think we need to start

08:00calling these developers out.

08:03You know,

08:04it's just like how people called out

08:05Watermelon Games

08:07for the Paprium scandal

08:08and stuff like that.

08:09It's just like that.

08:12You know?

08:15If we're able to call out

08:17Watermelon Games

08:18for their Paprium scandal,

08:20then,

08:21we need to call out

08:23Kai Magazine Software

08:24for what they're doing.

08:27Because this is illegal.

08:30That is illegal

08:31and it can get you sued.

08:34And this is,

08:35something that I don't find

08:37okay.

08:39I don't find this

08:40to be okay.

08:44And to be honest,

08:46and,

08:47and I can agree

08:47with everybody

08:48when I say this,

08:51should have been free.
