The USA is famous for its themed playgrounds, like Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World etc.   It is a great place to visit for these high tech playgrounds - these are all world-standard playground and much better than the ones I have seen in other parts of the world.   <br />There is also a lot of history, and you can learn about the original inhabitants of the land (Red Indians) before most of them were annihilated. <br />There are a number of natural attractions at Yellowstone such as volcanic areas, volcanoes and canyons (such as the Great Canyon), but don't expect a lot from these from the tourism point of view.    <br />From the point of safety, avoid those that you feel unsafe and use a lot of common sense.
