Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life (John 14:6). Following Jesus should not be a chore or a burden as a matter of fact Jesus said to come to him all that are "weary and heavy-laden" Matthew 11:28. The gospel is the good news that through Jesus Christ we can be set free from sin and the nature of sin. We can be set free from selfishness, anger, hatred, sexual sins, materialism, greed, etc. If we confess our sins and turn from them he is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all righteousness (1John 1:9). Each day is a daily battle against the powers that seek to overcome us (Satan and his demons) . Jesus did die for our sins but he also died to set us free from this sin nature. All those that don't have Jesus are under the complete power of the flesh nature. The difference between an unsaved person and an animal is intelligence but unsaved men and even saved men are capable through their flesh nature to commit some terrible sins. Just look at the news today and you can see what people are capable of. Even someone with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is capable if they don't die daily to their self nature. God is holy! He cannot be in the presence of even the slightest sin. Jesus came to remove that sin and it's nature from those that follow him. When we choose sin over the Lord we are really being selfish and in rebellion much like a child that disobeys his or her parents. Choose this day who you will serve. We must be willing to give up our lives in this world if we are to belong to the Lord! On this page, I will try to post videos that will help in the process of dying daily to self and will speak the truth in love. Remember, I am nothing and my desire is to serve the body of Christ and to be a light. My prayer is that myself and other believers will grow daily in Christ and come out of this world and be separate (2 Corinthians 6:17).
