After a 6 mile jog averaging 9:50 per mile, I'm genuinely excited — this is the longest run I've been on since before ACL surgery a year ago. A real milestone in this recovery and running journey.

On the gear side, the Temu shoes with the stock insoles have held up impressively well through this. If you've never owned dedicated running shoes before, or your current pair is as old as mine was (8 years), I'd put these in a solid B tier for the price. Genuinely curious to see how things change next week once different insoles get added into the mix.

Hitting a distance milestone like this after a major injury means a lot more than just the pace. What's been your biggest comeback moment after time away from something you love?
