Born and raised in Joliet, Illinois, David Lichtenstein is an actor best known for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club. Back to the topic, David was a talented actor even as a child and he proved that when he was 14 and played in The Making of '...And God Spoke', his first film as an actor. He got a special thanks for that, since he was pleased to feel the movie magic and to experience the big-face actor adrenalin.
This made Lichtenstein compassionate about the art of acting and to follow the path of acting, so he choose to act professionally. He underwent a special transformation, studying the art of voice acting and general acting. Chicago Actors Studio was his primary choice and that is where he spent almost 6 years. All this training didn't come without rewards, as David played in various theatrical shows.
Later in 2010 he went on an audition for the title Sonnet for a Towncar. He was asked to participate as one of the smaller names - John Keating, and he accepted this offer. When the time was right, he took the big opportunity without even thinking. In 2013 David Lichtenstein acted in Dallas Buyers Club, alongside many famous actors like McConaughey, Leto and Garner.
Having played in The Host, a film title from the same year, made his name bigger in the eyes of general public. Radio shows started to show big interest and regional TV's too. He has done several regional commercials since 2013 and they all were a success.
In 2014, David played in Wild, with Witherspoon as the lead actress. Since this rise in his acting career, Lichtenstein has focused mainly on smaller regional projects, mainly spending his time with his family.
