Several people have been wounded in a suicide car bomb attack aimed at a senior police official in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
Senior Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Mohammed Aslam survived the attack.
Some of his guards were wounded and members of his family were trapped beneath the rubble after the blast which destroyed a large part of their home.
