Although this composer, arranger, actor and bandleader active in California seems to have been quite popular in the 1930's and 1940's. According to the featured paper excerpts, he was in vogue in Palm Beach in 1930 and in 1935 in Pittsburgh. I couldn't retrieve any personal information about him. As is the case so many times, however this bands appears to comprise outstanding musicians. This excellent record, was made in 1933. Vocal by Edith Caldwell.
