Ma Poule- Benny Waters Hot Antic JB 1982
A great honor as well as pleasue to have veteran alto player Benny Waters joining the Hot Antic Jazz Band on a concert. Benny, here at 80 still plays with the fire he had all his life joins the band in one of their favourite tunes “Ma Poule”. It appears first that Benny was not sure of this tune thrown at him.
He manages fabulously. All the excitement of finding out on the spot and then playing a brilliant solo comes through. That is what can make jazz so exciting.
