It Must be Love Hot Antic Jazz Band 1987

The Hot Antic Jazz Band formed in Nimes, France in 1979 and is inspired by the Chicago and New York jazz music from the 1920 and 30's. The influences of Cladys "Jabbo" Smith, Clarence Williams, King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington are evident in their jazz style and repertoire.
Led by trumpet player Michel Bastide, the band is widely regarded as Europe's hottest and purest traditional jazz group.
These are clips from a performance in New York in 1987 with Michel trumpet, Jean Francois Bonnel clarinet and saxes, his wife Virginie Bonnel on reeds as well, Stephane Matthey piano, Jean Pierre Dubois banjo and Christian Lefevre tuba,
