Resigned the big ips officer of Maharashtra in protest against the citizenship bill. As soon as the citizenship amendment bill was passed from Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Indian Police Service officer of Maharashtra cadre Abdur Rahman resigned. Abdul Rehman is posted as IG in Maharashtra Human Rights Commission. Rehman has announced his resignation, calling the citizenship bill as anti-Muslim.

नागरिकता बिल के विरोध में महाराष्ट्र के बड़े ips अधिकारी मे इस्तीफा दे दिया।बुधवार को राज्यसभा से जैसे ही नागरिकता संशोधन बिल पास हुआ..महाराष्ट्र कैडर के भारतीय पुलिस सेवा अधिकारी अब्दुर रहमान ने अपना इस्तीफा दे दिया। अब्दुल रहमान महाराष्ट्र मनावाधिकार आयोग में आईजी के पद पर तैनात हैं. रहमान ने नागरिकता बिल को मुस्लिम विरोधी बताते हुए इस्तीफा देने का एलान किया है.
