The Citizenship Amendment Bill has become law now. On the other hand, the governments of Punjab and Kerala have said that they will not allow the law to be implemented in their respective states. Earlier, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has also said that the law is not implemented. The governments of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have also declared the law to be anti-constitutional.
नागरिकता संशोधन बिल कानून बन चुका है। दूसरी तरफ कानून का विरोध भी तेज हो चुका है। पंजाब और केरल की सरकारों ने कहा है कि वे अपने-अपने राज्यों में कानून को लागू नहीं होने देंगे। इसके पहले पश्चिम बंगाल की सीएम ममता बनर्जी भी कानून को लागू नहीं करने की बात कह चुकी हैं। राजस्थान और छत्तीसगढ़ की सरकारों ने भी कानून को संविधान विरोधी करार दिया है।
