Thanks to Donald Sterling's racial gaffs in recent weeks, the NBA has pulled the franchise license for the Los Angeles Clippers out from under him, and is now poised to hand it over to the highest bidder.
Just today, it was announced that former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has agreed to purchase the team for a whopping $2 billion, the highest amount ever paid for an NBA franchise.
