Down in Honky Tonk Town Carlings 1985

In a set of DVD’s received from father Hans Carling comes this clip recorded during a jazz presentation in a church concert in Sweden. Down in Honky Tonk Town is played by father Hans on trumpet, mother Aina on banjo and with Max 16) on clarinet, Gunhild (9) on trombone, Gerd (14) on piano, and Ulf (6) on drums.
Totally amazing how these youngsters together are able to create such a swinging sound, being individually so very creative in the idiom and playing some darn hot jazz.
