Last February, Bangladesh's Jamaat-e-Islami leader, Delwar Hossain Sayadee, was sentenced to death.

Now a key witness in his trial, who disappeared before he could testify, has turned up in an Indian jail.

A British journalist in Bangladesh says he has evidence proving that Shukhoranjan Bali was kidnapped by Bangladeshi security forces and is currently being held in an Indian prison.
