Former Tottenham and England midfielder Darren Anderton believes Gareth Bale’s emergence as one of the world’s best players means the club will find it hard to keep him at the club.
Anderton joined Andy and Bobby to reflect on his time with the Three Lions at Euro ’96, but he also explained why the Welsh winger is now being heralded as the next big thing in football.
“It’ll be difficult for Spurs to keep him,” he said.
“He’s already turned into one of the best players in the world, I think he’s outstanding.
