Singer Little Boots makes little noise at a silent gig

In London on Thursday a very special secret gig was taking place - so secret that you wouldn't even have heard it if you happened to walk by. Following in the quiet footsteps of the silent disco, pop star Little Boots played a silent gig for 300 of her fans. While she performed in a sound-proof perspex box, the crowd all listened through headphones.

SOUNDBITE (English) singer Little Boots, saying:

"It was definitely the strangest gig I've ever done. It was interesting. I had great sound but you couldn't really hear the audience reaction so it took a lot to get used to."

Little Boots was one of four acts performing silent gigs as part of Deezer's Bandwagon tour and strangely enough even performed her hit song "Headphones," which is about silent discos, at the event.
