Want to get into the pot business legally?

The Cannabis Career Institute, otherwise known as CCI announced the opening of the first pot school in Nevada.

Located in Henderson, dozens of students recently enrolled and subsequently learned the ups and downs of the marijuana business. They also acquired skills in growing pot legally and making cannabis brownies and cookies.

Students of the new school may have to put on hold their hopes of starting a literal budding business.

It may take a year before medical marijuana dispensaries could open in the state, even though the senate recently approved a bill for them.

Earlier this year, a company in Denver opted to place cannabis flower oil in their body sprays, lip balms and skin creams. The oil contains THC, which is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.

A company official states "Everything is for the skin. It's not meant to be inebriating in any way.” The marijuana skin care products are only available to medical marijuana patients, as retail stores specializing in cannabis items won't be permitted to open until 2014.
