Police quiz five women for praying at Western Wall

Five Jewish feminists who prayed out loud at the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City wearing prayer shawls were on Thursday detained for questioning, a police spokeswoman said. Wearing a tallit, a fringed prayer shawl, is one of several practices traditionally reserved for men at the sacred spot and was outlawed by a 2003 court ruling which said it would constitute a danger to public order.
