Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is delighted by the Gunners’ fighting spirit following their crucial 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.
The north London side went into a 2-0 lead courtesy of a Tomas Rosicky brace, but endured a shaky finale following Per Mertesacker’s sending off and James Morrison’s resulting penalty strike.
The Baggies remained a threat until the final seconds of the game, but Arsenal managed to effectively quash their opponents' advances and close out the game, which clearly pleased the Gunners boss.
