A hare is hit and pinned to the ground by greyhounds during the JP McManus-sponsored Irish Cup coursing meeting at Limerick Racecourse. Filmed by the Irish Council Against Blood Sports. February 2013.
The hare can be seen desperately struggling to escape as the greyhounds pin it to the ground - further proof that the muzzling of greyhounds does not save hares from suffering and that as long as live lures are used, the cruelty will continue.
