England batsman Nick Compton has told talkSPORT he is looking to put in improved performances in their upcoming Tests against New Zealand.
The Somerset star scored an average 34.66 runs in his eight innings during his debut series against India, which earned him a place in the English squad to face the Black Caps.
But he admits he’s hoping to play better in conditions that are more suitable to England's, and his, style.
He told the Sports Breakfast: “I’m hoping [conditions] will be a little bit more conducive to what we get here in England.
