Chris Froome, the Team Sky rider who came second behind team mate Bradley Wiggins in last year's Tour de France, said on Thursday (January 24) he was incensed by the damage that disclosures by Lance Armstrong were doing to cycling.
"I feel really angry about the revelations from Armstrong," he said at the team's winter training camp in Majorca. "I think it has caused a lot of, all of us are being painted with the same brush now which is never a good thing for cycling and I think we are losing a lot of sponsors. But I think this is something which could be seen also in a good light so we can take the good things from that and learn a lot about the Armstrong case that this never happens again in cycling."
On Thursday (January 24) Team Sky riders for 2013 were presented to reporters.
Hanging over the season's start is the admission by Lance Armstrong, who won seven consecutive Tours de France from 1999 to 2005, that he and other riders doped systematically to win races.
