Brown: 'The fans and media are unanimous Strachan is the man for Scotland'

Former Scotland manager Craig Brown has welcomed the appointment of Gordon Strachan as the national team's new boss.
Brown, who was in charge of the Tartan Army between 1993 and 2001, says the ex-Celtic gaffer was the oustanding candidate for the job and hopes he will bring a feel-good factor back to Scottish football.
And he admits the former Aberdeen, Manchester United and Leeds star has already achieved one significant feat by uniting the fans and the media in the belief he is the right man for the job.
