Russian flag planted on N Pole seabed

Members of the largest ever Russian polar expedition, `Arctic 2007`, have completed their first mission to explore the seabed at the North Pole. The expedition hopes to prove that a large underwater shelf, possibly rich in oil and gas, is part of Russian territory.
