Russia's new president Dmitry Medvedev has pledged to continue Putin's policies over U.S. plans to set up a missile defence shield in Europe. Washington says its only aim is to protect against any potential threat from Iran and North Korea. Mark Brzezinski, a former Director of the Russia and Eurasia Committee at the U.S. National Security Council, told RT the two countries must work together.
