"Tughlaqabad Fort is a fort in Delhi, stretching across 6.5 km, built by Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq, the founder of Tughlaq dynasty, of the Delhi Sultanate of India in 1321. The Mausoleum of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq is connected by a causeway to the southern outpost of the fortification. The actual mausoleum is made up of a single-domed square tomb (about 8 m x8 m) with sloping walls crowned by parapets. This tomb is a mausoleum enclosed within high battered pentagonal stone walls and surrounded by cupolas. The entrance to this tomb enclosure is through a high and massive gateway of red sandstone.
There are three graves in this tomb one of Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq and the other two is believed to be of his wife and son and successor Muhammad bin Tughluq.
