Sloth Bear mauls villagers!

"A female Sloth Bear attacked these villagers near the Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India. Sloths are known to have an awful temper (apart from poor sight!).
The men say:
""I was ploughing my fields when suddenly from the forest a bear came and attacked me. It was a female bear with her two cubs. The bear attacked my neck, back and my eyes.""
It was 6 pm in the evening on the 23rd of October, 1994. I was walking on the path when suddenly a bear came out from the bush and attacked me. It was a female bear with her two cubs. It attacked my eyes and ears.""
