Georgia's Central Election Commission has declared former Mikhail Saakashvili the winner of the presidential elections. He got more than 52 per cent of the vote, which guarantees him a new term. That's twice as many votes as his main rival Levan Gachechiladze, who's vowing to go on hunger strike unless there's a second round. The Georgian opposition supporters claim the results have been rigged.
