A disturbing video has recorded a horrific car crash in the Siberian city of Irkutsk. The driver reportedly confused the accelerate and brake pedals, before surging over the pavement and hitting two female victims, which were taken to hospital in a critical condition. She herself appeared unhurt and left the car but to make a phone call, although ambulances were called by other witnesses. There has been criticism that she appeared not to help the two pedestrians she hit. The 25-year-old driver is the daughter of the chairman of the local election commission and is reportedly an inexperienced driver.
