The 8-9 Indiana Pacers will continue their road journey into Chicago to face the 8-7 Bulls in an NBA pro basketball game on Tuesday night. Tip off time from Chicago is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by the NBA League Pass Channel.

The NBA odds from this matchup have the home club Chicago Bulls favored by -4 ½ points with an over under line of 180 points. When the odds were released a few hours ago Chicago was favored by -4 points and the total was lined at 180 points. We have seen no movement on the total and a ½ point move on the Bulls side.

During the lockout shortened season last year the teams met three times with Chicago winning and covering in two of the three games.

This will be the Pacers fourth and final game of this road trip. It began well with wins at the LA Lakers and Sacramento Kings On Saturday they dropped a 103-92 decision at Golden St as a +5 point underdog on the back end of a back to back. Point production is an issue for Indiana as they average just 90 points a game and hit on 41% from the floor which is 29th worst in all of basketball. Good thing they play defense or else it would be a miserable year for this club. They allow 40.8% shooting to their opponents best in the NBA. They will be another two months from the services of leading scorer Danny Granger who is out injured with a left knee injury. David West leads the Packers in scoring with 17 points a game and 49% shooting from the floor.

The Bulls are trying their best to stay above .500 as Derrick Rose is recovering from offseason knee surgery. No timetable has been set for a return just yet. After dropping four of five games the Bulls have won two straight with home wins against Dallas and on Saturday they earn the 93-88 win against the Philadelphia 76ers as a -6 ½ point favorite. Minus Derrick Rose the Bulls still play good defense allowing teams just 92 points a game. It’s been on the offense end where Rose is missed greatly as the Bulls average just 94 points a game.
