New Tajik law makes weddings cheaper and elders upset

In Tajikistan, weddings were traditionally grand affairs with hundreds of guests in attendance and came with a hefty price tag. Many families spent years saving up for the occasion. But a new law has put strict limitations on the ceremony, to make marriage more affordable to young couples.
