The Newshour Debate- Versus: Stalled monsoon, frozen winter (Part 1 of 2)

After washing out whole monsoon session of the Parliament over CAG's report on coal block allocations, winter session is also going the same way with the opposition stalling both the houses over foreign direct investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail. FDI heat is rising in the winter session with the BJP sticking firm on its demand for a vote and the Congress, though confident of its numbers is not relenting. With the Parliament already losing three days of the debate and after all-party meeting inconclusive, there seems to be a tough road ahead for the UPA government.
