Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was back on the attack Thursday, breaking a storm-induced campaign truce to pound home his closing messages in a tight battle for the White House.

Romney criticized President Barack Obama's comment in an TV interview that he would like to create a new department under a Secretary of Business.

"I just don't think another Cabinet chair is going to create the jobs that America needs and so I'm entitled to make sure that we get a President who understands business as opposed to tries to hire someone in the Cabinet who has the background of business."

Romney plans to finish up his campaign on Monday night in New Hampshire, the state where he launched his bid last year.
