ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: George Clooney took a break from the good times at the Golden Globe Awards to talk politics, slamming republican presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney for his stance on gay rights. "Well I'm not much concerned until there is an actual nominee, but I think it's the wrong side of history," says Clooney, when asked about Romney's gay rights stances. "I think everyone sort of understands it might be the last leg of the civil rights movement, I do believe that. So I think that at some point, somewhere along the way, it's certainly not the wedge issue it was in 2004, so that's a good sign, those are important things to me." Clooney had just won the best dramatic actor honors at the Globes, for his role in "The Descendants," which also took best drama.
